Javier Veiga plays online at Full Tilt Poker
One of Spain’s most recognizable actors, Javier Veiga began his career on the stage, where he wrote, directed and performed. He soon made the transition to television and movie actor, again writing and directing in both mediums.
A native of O Grove in Pontevedra, Javier is perhaps best known for hosting the popular Comedy Club on Canal+. He has starred in such movies as The Year of the Tick and Seduction School, as well as presenting a number of poker shows.
He discovered poker at an early age, but only began to devote serious time to the game in 2008. Poker became Javier’s main hobby and, after studying the game and improving his standard of play, he has enjoyed considerable success in recent years.
In addition to winning a number of smaller tournaments in his local casino during 2009, Javier cashed in two Full Tilt Poker Series – España events that year, including a 10th place finish in the Grand Final event in Madrid for $18K.
