QUESTION FROM tennisguyiam: I find marginal hands can really pay off, they often take down the "big" hands everyone waits for. So should you only play them when you ahead or are they safe enough to play anytime?
ANSWER FROM Paul Sexton: marginal hands look great when you snap off aces, but you dont see the drain they put on a stack when you miss over and over and when the big hand hits against your marginal hand. marginal hands look great on tv, but dont play that well in real games

ANSWER FROM Paul Sexton: your percentage chance of winning the hand after the flop. in general, if you have 8 outs after the flop its 8x4= 32 percent chance of winning. if you blank on the turn, now its x2. so 8x2=16 percent chance of winning
