One of the world’s richest high-stakes cash games will be played out this September in London as some of poker’s biggest stars will play in the Million Dollar Cash Game. The event will be filmed for TV and air in January 2009 on Sky Sports in Europe.

In its 3rd season, the Million Dollar Cash Game is the biggest high-stakes cash game held in Europe and in this no-holds barred game, each player must put up at least £100,000 of their own money to compete.
Sponsored by Full Tilt Poker, the line-up for this year’s invitation-only event is even more competitive. Phil Ivey will be back to defend his No.1 position against Team Full Tilt’s Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Mike Matusow and Gus Hansen. They will be joined by fellow Team Full Tilt members Patrik Antonius, Andy Bloch and Allen Cunningham, along with Full Tilt Poker pro and high-stakes cash game expert Eli Elezra.
The 2007 event featured one of the most watched and discussed televised pots ever, when Phil Ivey beat Patrik Antonius in a record-breaking $807,400 pot, at the time the largest sum of money ever won in one hand of televised poker. The inaugural run of the show in 2006 saw Ivey coming out on top and winning the most money in that season.
The show is a must see for any serious poker fan. Stay tuned to this page where we will keep you informed on the actual airing dates once they are announced.
